These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Respects application (the "App") and related services (the "Services") operated by Respects App Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 7608685), with its registered office at 61 The Park, Cheltenham, GL50 2SA ("we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Respects. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the App.
2. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
You agree not to impersonate any person or entity or to misrepresent your identity.
3. User Content
You retain ownership of any content (text, images, videos, etc.) you post through the App ("User Content").
By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and perform the content in connection with operating and providing the App.
You are solely responsible for the content you post and must ensure it does not infringe any third-party rights or violate any law.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
Post or share unlawful, harmful, abusive, or defamatory content.
Harass or bully other users.
Use the App for illegal purposes.
Attempt to hack or disrupt the App or servers.
Create automated accounts or use bots to interact with the App.
5. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the App, you consent to our use of your data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in the App (excluding User Content) is owned by or licensed to Respects App Limited. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express permission.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any operational or legal reason.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be secure, error-free, or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Respects App Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the App.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the App or sending an email. Continued use of the App after changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
